My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Yes, it blended right in – I never knew about the leaf bug til yesterday. I follow a nature site on Twitter and they showed pictures of it in a video – it was amazing to see!
Animal camouflage is versatile and amazing! Check out a leafy sea horse and different colors of frogs. Chameleons too and they have eyes that move in different directions.
You follow some interesting Twitter sites and glad to know that you are an admirer of nature too.
I do admire nature – as a kid my parents always watched “The Underwater World of Jacques Cousteau” or “National Geographic” specials … something else and can’t remember the name but it was all animals.
They help you to have a good appreciation of nature at a young age. They have this cute magazine called “Ranger Rick” for kids who love nature: https://rangerrick.org/magazines/
Perfect camouflage in my opinion too!

I think so too! At first glance, it’s easy to miss. Animals have unbelievable camouflage. There’s a leaf bug that looks exactly like its surroundings.
