My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Thank you! Fun activity for kids, but it’s a lot of hands-on from mama. The number patterns are interesting and shows how nature is not random.
I hope you are well with the orange sky. Isn’t it bizarre? Kind of feeling glum from all this bad air.
It’s a very interesting concept to see the Fibonacci number sequence in so much. I’m still figuring it out. For the kids, I’m satisfied with them being familiar with the name and knowing that there is a number sequence found in flowers, fruits, and seashells, etc. I never learned about this growing up; if I did, I don’t remember a thing. lol.

At first I wasn’t sure if it was a pineapple or a pinecone – maybe I need to sit in on this school lesson too!

I did not know about it growing up either.
So many cool things to learn!
Nice!
Thank you Diane!!!
You’re welcome, Esther!
