Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
I love Dr. Seuss’s quote, Esther. We just to value people and things at the present instead of waiting until they became memory. The dandelion is beautiful.

Thank you Miriam! Dandelions are one of my favorites; they just bring lots of cheer and sunshine.
I found this particular Dr. Seuss’s quote on Pinterest and felt it was a perfect fit for how I felt about this picture.
Have a good start to the weekend!

Dr. Seuss has many wonderful quotes. My husband started to walk with me on Saturdays. I look forward to walking tomorrow!

I too love walking for exercise, exploring nature, and just getting fresh air. Happy walking on Saturdays with your husband! The weather has been mild lately, which makes going out more pleasant. When summer comes, it is gonna be hot. And now CA. is in a drought.

It’s 80F right now. I usually wait until evening to walk by myself. We only had a few days of rain this past winter which is not helpful with the drought. Have a nice week, Esther!

Dandelions always look to bright and cheery, like those yellow daisies … I have lots of cheeriness on my lawn. 🙂

They are reminders of happiness on the lawn. And when they come, these hardy guys refuse to leave.
Hope you are having a good week so far!

That’s for sure Esther – we had below-freezing temps last Tuesday and Wednesday and 4.2 inches of snow and the snow melted and they looked fresh as before!

Michigan’s weather is full of surprises! That means people need to be flexible with their daily plans, clothing choices, driving routes, etc. Lots to consider with weather fluctuations like that. You’re a trooper!

Thanks Esther! Yes, yesterday was 83 and the day before when I left the house at 8:00 a.m. we’d had a hard freeze and I was in a Winter coat – yesterday no coat when I left in the morning. Crazy.
