Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
What lovely flower they are, Esther! Are they in your garden?

Thank you Miriam! We found these flowers on a walk on someone’s lawn. These were tiny flowers but they stood out from the brown mulch.

I take many photos of flowers on my walk also, Esther!

I take so many stops to take flower pictures. When we all go for a walk, Chris walks with the kids while I meander around. It’s an unspoken understanding.

Haha, good for you, Esther! You get to do something you like to do when going for a walk. I hope we’ll be heading for a better summer, easing the restrictions.

Kids are used to it now and think that’s just the way it is. They also take my camera and try their hand at it too. But those pictures are accompanied by funny face selfies.

Thank you Linda! I’ve been finding dainty flowers often these days. They are very close to the ground but the zoom feature works wonders.

I like dainty flowers too – I was looking for wildflowers in a forest-type area but only saw a few and am not up on their names. When I retire, I’m going to buy a Michigan wildflowers book and learn them!
