Thank you! Nice respite from the heat and to enjoy the scenery. There’s something about wooden benches that feel organic.

and the composition for the photo with the pit and part of the chair was really moody and cool
I agree with you! I would do the same if I could have the whole afternoon to myself. The slow paced ambience of Napa makes me want to spend a whole summer there to read and write and wander around the pretty places. One can only imagine…maybe when kids are in college. (It’s be more fun if I were a wine drinker but not a big fan).
You noticed! The flower pot by the wooden chair oozed nature to me and I stood there a long time taking various shots of it. I got a full shot of the bench with the pot, but that was too much. Showing just a bit of the bench seemed to work better for the photo.
