These blooms are making a dramatic appearance with spring approaching in 2 weeks. Dark purple foliage makes a nice contrast with the delicate blooms.
Did you know that birds feast on this trees’ small berries? Jam could also be made with those berries too, but the picking process seems tedious when they are this tiny. Maybe they get larger as the weather warms.
The petals float and fall to the ground with a small breeze or movement to its branches: I call it spring snow.
Thanks Cee for hosting this challenge and thank you readers for stopping by! Have a blessed and happy start to a new week.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
I would call it spring too once I saw these beautiful pastel blossoms!

Spring will finally be here soon!! You had such a tough winter with the snow, ice, and cold. Parker and his buddies are probably waiting to see you everyday, stopping by with their treats.

Well I think they’ll have me three days this week, today, Wednesday and Thursday. The rest of the time will rain and a wintry mix on Saturday. I totally give up on this weather … Spring is Sunday, so hope is on the horizon.
