Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
1 John 4:7
Just need to listen when a family member hurts. Sometimes I’d rather ignore and check back in when the situation has simmered down since the problem is not about me directly. But I’m learning that being available to listen with an open heart, unoffended attitude, and I hear you attitude can be a gift to the other person. To be honest, this is asking a lot from me; I have 2 kiddos constantly talking and vying for my attention. My listening skills are stretched to the max.
Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Ephesians 4:2

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
