I recently subscribed to a gardening magazine and it arrived in the mail today.

The brochure is chock full of rich information, pictures, and drawings that’ll help me further my knowledge of plants’ names. An ongoing process that’s slowly building steam: I can name about a dozen without the help of Google lens. It’s a gratifying experience: for now, I’m satisfied with identification.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Love all of this!

This magazine is perfect for learning and browsing! If I keep it up, I may be able to identify more names.

That was a good idea getting that catalog – you’ll be a whiz at IDing plants in no time and that reminds me I bought a wildflower book last year – better dig it out as I was going to try and learn wildflowers to identify them in my posts.
