sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

“Pink hydrangea meaning is closely related to the classical flower meanings. Offering a pink hydrangea is a way of showing love for a person. A bouquet of pink hydrangeas can be an original way of expressing emotions that you would usually convey by roses.” – Source

For Cee’s FOTD post. Have a great weekend and stay safe!

Beautiful – I have some that color – they are “Twist and Shout” Hydrangeas and turn pink or blue depending on the acid in your soil.

Wow, that’s pretty amazing! When I glance at gardening articles, gardeners talk about the ph and acidity in soil…it’s so confusing at that point I begin to tune out. I really should learn more to teach the kiddos about it.
Thanks for sharing that useful info!

You’re welcome Esther – I didn’t pay a lot of attention to the acidity level in the soil either and when I bought them, I decided I’d “wing it” and see what color they turned out. I’ve had luck with them, because other plants have bitten the dust and these pink beauties are still growing strong.
