Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
They are huge and look like they are in attack mode!

I wonder how long it took for them to grow that large.

I know – they were huge and you have to wonder if their growth would be partly because of all the heat and drought conditions?

Maybe it’s a specific kind that grows that large. I think Agave plants grow very large and wide too.

I’ve head of that plant before, but not seen it.

It must be the drought here because cactus plants are growing large…or maybe I’m more observant of them these days. It’s hot and dry here. I wonder if we’ll get some rain next season. Hoping you get a balanced weather too…not that crazy downpour pain and snow storms with power outages. Yikes.

We have had a beautiful week here, coolish, sunny, almost new humidity, but it’s been misty in the morning and my glasses are already fogging up, so I need to apply the FogAway. Our nice weather comes to a halt tonight and we have storms and rain through the weekend. I think I can salvage a walk tomorrow morning, but that’s it. Two more days of freedom for you and the kids, then hitting the books again.
