FOTD: 8-19-’22. Cactus and tiny palms

In our drought state, I’ve been spotting more lush (if that’s even the right word to use) leaves and cactus. The tips are a bit burnt and brown, but don’t the leaves themselves look vibrant?

Have a wonderful start to the weekend! We officially start homeschooling next Monday, so I’ve been mentally preparing myself to be a better teacher this year, without all the extra stress I place on myself to be the best teacher. Good enough is good enough. 🙂
