Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Love that quote!

I’ve seen these flowers before and never knew their name – thanks for this info and the quote Esther!

You’re welcome! I learn so much from you that I’m happy to hear your comment. I can see why they’re called “Pig’s ears.” The petals have the curled up look like a piggy’s ear.

Well, thank you – we enlighten each other with our knowledge, even though we are 3,000 miles apart. Very cool name for these flowers and yes, it does look like a pig’s ear curled up (from pictures I’ve seen). Piglet’s ears were more like Dorito chips. 🙂
