My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!

At least she’s at home! I do hope that by Christmas she’s feeling better. It’s sad for anyone to be ill at Christmas, but especially for a child.
Linda, sorry if I wasn’t clear in my title. This was from 2017. She gets sock every December so I was looking through some old photos.
She’s recovered now and happily painting rocks as gifts right now.
Typo..sick, not sock.
Oh, your title was clear. I was so taken with the photo, I guess I didn’t finish reading it! I’m glad all’s well.
Thank you! All is well. We hit bumps along the road but we manage to still have a good Christmas. Puts the holidays into perspective for us…and reminds me to stay focused. It’s easy to get caught up in the Christmas frenzy but when these bumps happen, it’s a big dose of reality for me.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and I’m so happy that you came to visit and comment!!
