My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
A few years ago, they weren’t this tall. They’d zip zap in and out that rockway. When elliot was 3 years old, he’d cry from seeing the wild animal statues of buffaloes’ and deers’ decor.First time seeing this bear!Green vest attire Plush party What happened to this water?Last summer, this outdoor water area was bare and dry. They filled it up and I’m sure the rain is helping.
Thank you Cindy!! They’re quite a happy duo on most days except when sibling rivalry kicks in. But big brother is a fierce protector of his sister, though he’ll deny it when asked. Last week or so when she was taking a nap after the er fiasco, he told me that he loves his sister. Lol.
Happy new year to you too and wishing you a happy and healthy year!
Me too! Bass Pro is fun like that. Have you been there, if so, have you seen their hilarious variety of hot sauce bottles with some punny words on them? Too funny. When my kids were young, they asked, “what does a$$ mean?” It was something like hot kick yo’ a$$ sauce. hahahaha
Your kids and your stories about them are so cute. Blogging is a perfect way to share them, I think. I came to blogging by reading a friend’s daughter’s blog about her family and got caught up in it much as you would a soap opera. I haven’t read it for years because her kids got older and she pretty much stopped blogging about them. But it was such fun to read about their antics. 🙂
Thank you! It is fun to share stories about the things we go through and their antics…there’s plenty of them too. lol
I thought life would get easier as kiddos got older but there’s other stuff that keeps mamas busy. It would’ve been interesting if your blogger friend did keep up with the stories as kids got older. Different perspectives. Thank you for stopping by and for your comment.
Happy new year!
That is a very cool place to go – I Googled and the one in Michigan is not near me. At first I thought it was Cabela’s – that is closer to me. The Cabela’s sounds like it is similar with the animals inside and the water. Did you come home with a cute bear?

I haven’t been in a while. Cool store though. Haha too funny!
It’s a fun store to check out the different aisles. Their aquarium is nice too.
