I’m listening to pouring rain right now – just teeming rain. I know you guys never saw rain for so long – it is now a treat to be out in it.

You get a wider variety of weather patterns in your state! We’re used to the heat and dry wind…when rain comes, we head out to look at it, touch it, taste it, etc. All that good stuff.

The rain finally stopped and I got out today … we ended up having 1.5 inches of rain which our weatherman said would be equivalent to 11-12 inches of snow. Glad it was rain!
