sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

This set was a gift from our babysitter from 2 years ago, and we just started this week. We move slowly! There’s 2 more crystal powders to do but we can out of glass cups to put them in. lol.
You should try it too…I think you can get it on Amazon. If you do, I can send you a curriculum about crystals. Let me know.

    Wow, that’s so cool.

Wow – very interesting seeing the outcome of the crystals Esther.

I want to pick out the seed rock that has the crystals growing on it, but it takes 7 days for the crystals to fully grow. Few more days of observation to go!

That’s interesting. You know what I always found interesting Esther? I like those time-lapse photography videos, like when it shows how a seed germinates and becomes a flower. I used to have a video I saved of a flower, from seed to having a bee land on it.

Time-lapse videos are awesome and can learn so much by watching them. I wonder how you can get that done. That sounds very nice of your time-lapse video.
We love to observe things grow too! Maybe an interesting homeschool project. Oh gosh, always the teacher coming out in me!!

Wish I knew where I saw that time-lapse video and I’d send it to you. That would be a fun Spring project if you can find out how to do it … Spring unfurls and show everything opening leaves and buds.

That would be fun! No worries, I could find out. I don’t want you to spend your time searching.

I think it was a video sent by a client one time. I kept it for the longest time. I will send you a sunflower – this is the coolest one as it goes the longest period of time in the video. The kids will want to grow a sunflower – that would be fun. Is is allowed by your HOA? See separate comment.

We can have our planted pots on our porch! We had pumpkin that was like 6 or 7 pounds. It’s totally fine and a waste to throw away. So I put it outside on the wall by our house but is outside the porch. Thought the squirrels could get at it. That was yesterday and today the gardeners come. We’ll see if they took it away.

The squirrels love pumpkin. My next-door neighbor carved a few pumpkins one year and left them out. I hoped to get photos of the squirrels inside them, as I’d see them, but never when I had the camera in hand. They dive in head first. 🙂 A guy made a video a few years ago of squirrels in a pumpkin. He took the pumpkin which was hollowed out, so he put a GoPro recorder inside it and it captured the squirrels eating the pumpkin.

I got the idea from you! When we have squirrels around and have questions, we always say to ask aunt Linda but then we don’t. Lol
