Needing fresh air and exercise, we took a family walk along the creek. We were also curious to see how the recent rainfall affected the creek’s water level. A month ago, the sound was a steady, tranquil trickle of water; now it’s a gurgling, rushing sound.
In the first left picture below, I walked down close to the dirt and rocky creek to get a closer look of that tree branch nook; the dark half moon shaped by the branches. That was in February. Yesterday I could only take the picture from afar. It’s the same place; check out the water difference!

All the rocks under the fallen tree trunk are not visible anymore. We were amazed at the difference; can’t remember when we saw this creek with rushing water. Feeling thankful and in awe of nature!

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
It’s always good to see low water get replenished.
