Did you know there’s a song for Roly-Poly? It’s for a different sort of creature, but it’s a really fun song!
No, I did not know. Will check it out with my kiddos. Since we have the roly-poly, it’ll be our next science lesson and I can incorporate the song. Thank you!
It’s an old Bob Wills song — western swing. It’s about a little ‘roly-poly’ youngster who just can’t resist biscuits and jelly!
He/she is not going anywhere – all the comforts of home without the heavy rain or winds … heck ya!

Thank you! Once we spotted the roly poly, we knew it had to come home with us. That’s a bug viewing jar with a magnifying glass as its lid, from Rainbow Resources. I was happy to find airholes on top.
