Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Glad for the opportunity to say I loved your last post. Comments were not available. It’s a privilege to watch them, and learn, isn’t it?

Thank you Jo!! I’m so glad to hear that. You’re right that it’s a privilege to raise children and see how they grow and learn and change. I grow along with them too!

I didn’t know cats scream too! Clever tee-shirt. Yes, let them be kids as long as they can!

Isn’t it hilarious?! I do want to preserve their childhood as long as I can and as long as they want. One day, they’ll grow up and want them to look back with pleasant memories. Why the rush to grow up? Plenty of time for that in the future.

I agree with you – I see these young kids on their phones – I’m amazed at that. I heard a psychologist respond to when a kid should get a smartphone … a smartphone was 8 years old. Not so long ago, there were phones called “Firefly” and it was for just for kids. The phone was preprogrammed for Mom/Dad/relatives … you picked and those were the only numbers allowed and incoming only from the same people and no internet/social media etc.
