Ellis woke up feeling sick with a headache and throwing up. Her eyes have been itchy and red for days, but the regular allergy treatment didn’t work.
So we went to the doctor’s office and she got swabbed for Covid and the flu. All negative.

Got prescription strength allergy eye drops and a bowel cleanse regiment. All her regular medications slows down her digestion, so this should help with the vomiting.
It’s so confusing for me when stuff like this happens: how do I differentiate migraine vomiting to bowel- related vomiting?!
Anyhow, we are so grateful that it’s nothing serious. Our drive to the doctor’s office was somber and quiet with one passenger vomiting into a vomit bag and the other looking at her with worry: driver just praying and focused on driving safely.
Radio was playing the song “Come What May” by We Are Messengers, and my heart was feeling faith and ambivalence. Yes. I believe that I can handle what comes my way with Jesus by my side, but I don’t want something hard to come my way. Lol
But the drive back was full of nonsense talk and music. Prescription is not available until tomorrow, but not to worry. It’s not a heart thing, so we are relieved!! We’ll update Chris with all the morning news when he gets home from work today.
Thank you God that we are home and feeling better!!

Lyrics to “Come What May“
Sometimes sorrow is the door to peace
Sometimes heartache is the gift I need
You’re faithful, faithful
In all things
In every high, in every low
On mountaintops, down broken roads
You’re still my rock, my hope remains
I’ll rest in the arms of Jesus
Come what may (ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh)
Come what may (ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh)
There is deep joy that You give to me
Where hurt meets the healing is a holy thing
I see goodness, Your goodness
In all things, yeah
In every high, in every low
On mountaintops, down broken roads
You’re still my rock, my hope remains
I’ll rest in the arms of Jesus
Come what may (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Come what may (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Come what may (ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh)
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures
The Lord is my shepherd, leads me to still waters
And He restores my soul (He restores my soul)
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures
The Lord is my shepherd, leads me to still waters
And He restores my soul
In every high, in every low
On mountaintops, down broken roads
You’re still my rock, my hope remains
I’ll rest in the arms of Jesus
In every high, in every low
On mountaintops, down broken roads
You’re still my rock, my hope remains
I’ll rest in the arms of Jesus
Come what may, come what may (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Come what may, come what may
Come what may (ooh-ooh-ooh)
Come what may

Get better soon,Ellis!
Thank you, V!!
Poor kid. She’s been having a time of it.
Tell me about it!! It’s been this or that this year. Thankfully, she is doing better now.
Let’s hope she stays that way!
I’m glad Ellis is okay. What a day!
Thank you Norah! It was a crazy day for us and ended more dramatically with me losing her migraine medication and then brainstorming with Chris as to where I could have put it….found it in a travel bag an hour later.
Saved!
She’s mini you!!!
I hope she feel better soon.
I hate allergies, I have it too, twice a year. Interesting I cannot find long lasting relief.
Have you tried pranayama and homeopathic treatment?
Hahaha, I hear that a lot. She’s feeling better now. Yesterday was crazy with allergies and headaches; at night, her headache was pretty awful and worried it might turn into cyclic vomiting. I was running around the house crazy person looking for her migraine medicine, which was misplaced.
Allergies are pretty awful. It seems the relief is not long. As for my little girl, she has a preexisting medical condition, so we stick to her regular prescribed medications…but thanks for suggesting the homeopathic treatment, I’m an advocate for that for myself!
I hope she feels better. 🙂
You poor people have had such a bout of illnesses all around. Praying for all of your health to take a big upswing! 🙏
Amen!! Thanks for your prayers. Yesterday was a wild day for us.
I think you should zoom straight ahead to 2024 – maybe things will calm down by then. Fingers crossed for you!
Some fun faces amidst the cuddly toys😎👍
