sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Discovered Bing cherries at friend’s yard. New developments. Friend said this tree hasn’t produced fruit in two years, and this is a good year for it.

Cherries on the higher part of the tree were eaten by birds but not the lower ones. Very tarty!

Thanks Cee! Thank you, readers for stopping by! I appreciate you being here.

Not yet, but soon! To make cherry pie with handpicked cherries sound delicious. I’m not a baker, so I don’t know how that’d turn out though.

Thank you! Didn’t even know she had a cherry tree until we saw these red beauties.

They’ll be cuter when they get plumper! Just started to grow.

I love them too! There’s cherry picking in June around San Jose, if they’re still available.
Hopefully, my friend’s cherry tree will grow well, and we don’t have to go far.

It’s been forever since I’ve eaten them

They’re so delicious! We’re big cherry eaters, so we go crazy during cherry season.

        Aha!!

In monsoon we have some other fruits, so cherry is often ignored

      2. singlikewildflowers Avatar

        What other fruits for monsoon?

      3. DEVANG UPADHYAYA Avatar

        Well lychee will be available
Then guava, jawa plum, peaches, mangoes will be still around.

Then pears, plums, various varieties of apple will be available too.

They look good – our cherries are around 4th of July for peak.

Nice! A little bit later than us.

We have a festival in Traverse City, Michigan around 4th of July weekend. Big doings all about food and drinks made from cherries. Big highlight of the festival is the cherry pit spitting contest.
