Great shot!
Thank you , Liz! Dart likes to stick its head out the window during the day and even in the dark. It’s a funny sight; I wonder what goes through its mind.
You’re welcome, Esther!
What a great pic!
Thank you!
Welcome!
Cute.
Thank you, Norah!
Ha ha – Dart is mimicking his family. 🙂
We chose a good gecko. lol. He was the mellowest one out of the other geckos at Petsmart.
Ha ha – and he got a family who adores him. It was a win-win for both of you. 🙂
Thanks, Linda! I didn’t know that a gecko could be this fun and not too much care involved too…that’s definitely a win-win for us!!
The fish are going to jealous of the attention. 🙂
You’re so right! They have been getting less attention, but they’re pretty mellow. As long as you feed them, happiness in the tank: at least that’s what I think. But yesterday, I cleaned the algae and fed them amply.
When Marge lost her cat Missy to dementia, she went thru a series of different pets, none of which worked out. A dog (Maltese/Pekinese cross) that acted wild; a cat that destroyed her living room sheers and her Christmas tree, a bird that flew away when she took it out on the porch and the cage door somehow opened, so she bought a canary (and ended up giving it to my mom/me as we took care of it for almost a month when she went to Arizona to visit her ill mom). Anyway, she bought some fish and an aquarium and she swore up and down that she’d come home and the fish swam to the front of the tank to greet her. I’m thinking it might have been they were hungry and not the welcoming committee, but who was going to burst her bubble?
Oh my, Marge had a series of pets and stories to go along with it.
I too feel the fish are greeting us when we come up to the tank, but really, they’re after the food. I like to think Dart is greeting us too. lol. But I do wonder if Dart likes us.
Yes, she did – after her cat Missy died, it was a debacle with her procession of pets … that’s for sure. She was living alone, so maybe felt that those fish were welcoming her back home after her work day. I am sure Dart is loving the attention.
Cute! 😊
Thank you! Dart is our new gecko pet.
