My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!

oooooooo lovely B&W! with a ladybug to boot!
Thank you! This little succulent was found in a muddy sidewalk when we brought it home. It’s been making a fine comeback within the last couple of months. The ladybug was extra and hung around for a while.
Wow! A rescue succulent! Very nice!
I like how your termed it: “Rescue succulent!” Didn’t think about it that way. Nice!
What excellent micron photography. Nice B/ W bug photo. I like.
Thank you so much! I always get so excited to see a cute ladybug on our plants and this one was sticking around for a while. I’ve become a huge fan of succulents since last year. I have better luck with them than flowers.
Yes, you are so lucky.
Most welcome to you!
For a moment I thought it’s a drawing
I wish I could draw like that!!
😁
Very dramatic looking in black-and-white!
Thank you, Linda! This succulent has been growing steadily since we found it last December. I can’t wait to see it grow taller and broader.
