Swim Darling Dart Swim! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🦎 you can do it!! Your friend Yorkie.
Dear Yorkie, thanks for the encouragement! The water is different and I want to get out of there when I feel it. My humans won’t hurt me but it feels weird to be in that glass thing. My tail floats! How’s your swimming coming along?
Hi Darling Dart! I did not have to swim during my bath yesterday because my mama said she was too tired and I needed my pooper cleaned. Sometimes my poop sticks to my britches and I stink. Ack!
Your tail floats?! I don’t know how to float. I need lessons on floating for sure. I’m afraid that I’m going to drown, but my mama tells me that is why I must learn to swim. Darling Dart your feet and hands touch the bottom of your glass bowl which is your life saver! 🛟
I hear the soak did you good because you left a stinky present for your mama! I was rewarded a nice long nap in my mama’s soft bed after my bath, dry, and hair brush. Good thing my mama was tired because I love to sleep in her bed. 🐾❤️❤️🦎
Yorkie Loves Darling Dart
Lucy, my tail floats and my hands and feet touch the bottom of the tank. If I didn’t feel the bottom, you know I would scramble and do my emergency chirping for help. My humans are sensitive and try to keep me calm, but I’m a gecko. I don’t like water!
My tummy was nice and soft later and it was easy to do a poop. I have trouble with that. One time I did one on the carpet. My bad! I wish I could sleep on the bed with my humans; they’re warm. But I could get crushed and killed. Also, I’m a reptile so they have to wash hands after handling me. It would be too much work for them to have me wandering around the house. Mama would be tired from the cleaning.
Lucy, don’t be scared! You can be a good swimmer if you trust your mama and yourself. I know you can do it, Lucy!
That looks relaxing 😎
He didn’t think so at first! He was making clicking sounds, which means he’s unhappy. But once he calmed down and felt the warm water, he chilled out a bit. Those soaks do wonders for him. The next morning he left a surprise for us. lol
Spa Day!
Dart thinks it’s the worst torture thing when we put him in warm water. But once he feels its warmth, he settles down.
I would think it would be relaxing. Maybe he is afraid he’ll drown like if he fell asleep as he was relaxing in the warm bath?
Afraid of drowning and he probably doesn’t like the sudden switch in his environment. But once he gets used to it, he sits there calmly until the water turns slightly chilly. lol
