An interesting photo! I didn’t see the fish at first.
Yes, the little fish is there! It seemed a bit lost but still moving along on his journey, wherever that would lead him.
I was hoping you would send some aquarium photos! I love that deep blue. And it was fun to see that tiny fish.
I had salt three large salt water aquariums plus one ten gallon and a micro for several years when I live on the island in 2013. I absolutely loved them and the hobby entertained and interested me so much.
I will post some aquarium photos too. This time I didn’t take as many photos as previous visits. The walking was tiresome and backpack heavy with water bottles. This was the first time that Ellis did this aquarium visit without a stroller, so I lugged all the drinking in my bag. It’s quite a milestone that she was able to walk the whole field trip without needing to take constant rest in the stroller. We were all proud of this!
Oh boy, 3 salt water aquariums? That sounds amazing and the fish must’ve been beautiful. Salt water fish are vibrant colored and interesting. Pretty cool you know how to care for salt water fish. You lived in Hawaii? I thought you visited on vacations, but did not know you lived there.
No, I did not live in Hawaii though I visited many times.
I lived on “The Island” in Corpus Christi, TX. That is the name of it. I will try to send you some sort of map. I now live what is called “The Bay Front” though I’m not on the water. I’m only about a mile from it.
Esther, I couldn’t find a good simple map because everything on google is all about the tourism! Sorry for the confusion.
Oh, I misunderstood! lol. Since I just know about the island in Hawaii, I just assumed that.

It wanted to escape the crowd! That’s a beautiful blue color.
Small and determined! The blue is amazing and the jellyfish in this exhibit are so beautiful and that they look fake. lol.
I love that exhibit. It’s been too long since we’ve been there!

Yay! He’s a small one and difficult to pinpoint at first glance, but he is there.
Such a gorgeous blue and yes, the lone sardine searching for his own path! Reminds me of Jonathan Seagull!
This is a beautiful and welcoming exhibit at the aquarium! To see all these sardines schooling together is majestic. You’re right: that sardine is “searching for his own path!”
I gotta find out who Jonathan Seagull is….oh my, I just searched and will put it in my cart. It sounds intriguing to read an allegorical tale about a seagull. Thank you for letting me know about it.
You are in for a treat and so glad you found the book. Richard Bach is a terrific writer and one that always challenges us to think outside the box. His Illusions is my favourite- my paperback copy almost falling apart!
