My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Is Elliot in 8th grade this year?

My oldest is in 8th and I’m brainstorming homeschool grad ideas… nothing huge but I want to do something to celebrate the occasion!

Elliot looks like an 8th grader. My son makes the same face when I take his photo. 😂

That would be so special and memorable for you all. I went to Party City last week for Ellis’ birthday balloons and I saw a lot of graduation decorations. Maybe going there will give you some ideas. Can you share what you will do?
I gotta do something for Ellis’ 5th grade.
Middle school boys don’t like to do big smiles for photos!

I was thinking of writing a post with our 8th grade grad stuff… just need to figure out what we’re doing. Probably won’t happen until mid-June. 😁

That’ll be a great post! I hear you…post it when you have time. You got lots on your hands. Etsy has some nice looking digital printables for a diploma.

Save that picture, it seems to get harder to get one as they get older!
