My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

I love that you notice the beauty in little blooms!
Thank you, Ju-Lyn! This little beauty was just there waiting to get noticed.
The best kind of treasure hunt!
For sure!
I am still seeing dandelions here Esther – like yours, a sole survivor from the May onslaught. My neighbor’s Magnolia bush is blooming again, fifth or sixth time since May.
I love seeing dandelions…they are hardy (even though gardeners depise them) and pretty flowers!
The magnolias must be gorgeous. What color?
In the Spring when everything looked so blah all Winter, the dandelions and lush green grass are a welcome sight! The magnolias are a very pretty pink.
For sure! Pink magnolias sound gorgeous. I hope they stick around for a while. I feel sad that your lovely trees at Council Park will not boast their lovely autumn foliage.
Yes, I forgot to see if they are still there – we will have three days of rain and wind which may scatter petals to the wind. One side will still have trees, but the most trees are gone … I understood they would be planting the native plants before year-end, but I guess they’ll just wait until next year now.
So pretty!
Wonderful blooming dandelion. Beautiful colour.
