Another bout of cyclic vomiting…yikes.
My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Another bout of cyclic vomiting…yikes.

Thank you! Another bout and here we are. Glad the wait wasn’t long. Grateful for that.
Jesus is the answer.
Amen to that!
I hope you’re able to leave as quickly as you arrived. I was interested to see that there is a ‘pediatric emergency’ entrance. It makes sense for a number of reasons, but I’ve never seen that before. Perhaps some of our hospitals have them as well, and I’ve just been lucky enough to avoid the hospitals. Sending good wishes and prayers for you and your whole family.
This is a new pediatric emergency entrance that is under construction. It used to be one er for both adults and children, but Stanford has been undergoing a major revamp and a separate entrance to the kids’ er is a work in progress. I so appreciate it, because kids get their own space and an interior that makes them more comfortable than an adult’s er space.
Thank you for your sweet message! I hope you continue to avoid the hospitals and stay healthy. 🙂
Sending prayers. God’s got this.
Thank you for your prayers! You’re right…God’s got this.
🙏🙏🙏♥️
Hope she feels better and can come home really soon. Sending good thoughts. <3
Thank you!
Oh, no! Not again!! You and Ellis will be in my thoughts.
Thank you, Liz!
You’re welcome, Esther!
Hope it’s a quick hospital stay this time and she’s good as new asap! ❤️🩹
It was the shortest hospital stay we’ve had in a couple of years and we were so grateful for that! When we first walked into the er, the dread of staying in the hospital for days got me nervous. My adrenaline goes up and down in those situations.
Esther – you know that your blogging family has both of you in our thoughts and prayers. I hope it is a quick visit. Hugs to both of you. {{{ }}}
Linda, it was the shortest visit in a long time! I was feeling nervous when we first got there, because I don’t know how my stamina would last for another couple of days, if it turned out to be like our past stays.
Thank you!
You are blessed Esther. {{{ Hugs }}}
Thank you!! I feel and know that I am blessed. God is good.
He watches over you, even in tough times.

He sure does! I get scared every day though…it feels like my life is like a house of cards that will come falling down any minute. Must trust the good Lord.
Your faith keeps you humming along – otherwise you would crumple with all the stress you encounter in your days.
Amen!! I wish faith came easily, but it’s me praying for more belief with all my unbelief. God is faithful to answer and to keep me together. Because I can easily fall apart from all the stress if I don’t reply on God.
I can see that Esther. I say my prayers daily, have a prayer list (your family is on it) and light candles. Life is tough and sometimes bleak and I have really no worries compared to you. You must keep the faith – sometimes it is all we have.
Thank you so much, Linda!! I appreciate it so much. You’re right…must keep the faith.
You’re welcome Esther – you are always in my thoughts, no matter which kiddo is giving you worries. Keep the faith.
So sad to hear that Ellis is ill. Wishing for wellness.
Thank you, TD!
Love to all of you.
Best wishes 🙏🏻
