sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Thank you, Cee, for hosting and hope all is well with you!

Thank you dear readers for stopping by and I hope to share more flower pictures with you. Although I enjoy taking pictures of flowers, trees, and plants, life has just been so hectic with medical appointments that I haven’t really been able to step out and enjoy the bounties of nature.

As we are almost to the start of November, I pray you all have a blessed start! Esther

That’s lovely! There hasn’t been much news of Cee lately, but I’m hoping Becky might have an update for us. Did you see the Squares post from Rebecca? I joined in this morning.

They have fluffy petals and vibrant colors!
I hope to hear updates about Cee too. Last I read was that she was recovering and in therapy following her fall. Oh dear, hope she is well!!

I think that God outdid himself when he created roses! These are gorgeous Esther!

True! They are so beautiful in all their colors and sizes. God sure makes them beautiful and they only last a little while before dying and blooming again.

Yes, I had tea roses in the beginning when I first started gardening in 1985. But I remember they were still small bushes and I only got one tea rose bloom, which took a while to get there, then if you got a strong wind – poof they were gone. So I switched to shrub roses at that point. My “Stairway to Heaven” climbing roses had difficulties with black spot. I made a memorial garden with them and it fell flat. A cemetery in Wyandotte, about five miles from me, has Civil War soldiers buried there and they have a black, wrought-iron fence around the cemetery. I visited once and was amazed to find climbing roses, I guess wild roses? They were all along that fence – just gorgeous!
