I have seen these beautiful and unique flowers at the Botanical Gardens – just amazing and so aptly named! It always seems after Labor Day the days are speeding toward the end of the year. For you, shoo away 2024 and hope for a better 2025!

These are beautiful flowers and have that elegant trumpet shape at the bottom, but I just learned from another blogger that they are poisonous to humans. Best to stay away from it but admire from afar. I hope gardeners stay safe as they handle all kinds of plants that may have adverse reactions to humans. Best bet: don’t experiment and put anything in your mouth even if it looks so pretty and good!
I had to remind my kids about that when they were little – I caught them picking “berries” once that were not edible…!!
Oh yikes, must watch out for wild and unknown berries!
