Thank you, D, for sending me the reel! I love all the photos, but this one brings back lots of memories. This was Ellis’ first VBS, and she was so excited to be a part of it.
My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Thank you, D, for sending me the reel! I love all the photos, but this one brings back lots of memories. This was Ellis’ first VBS, and she was so excited to be a part of it.

What a sweet portrait!
That’s a nice daddy-daughter photo Esther … a real keeper!
Thank you, Linda!
I’d take that picture and the picture of Chris and Elliott looking the same direction with the same stance and put them in a frame for Chris … maybe Father’s Day or Christmas. Something to cherish.
That sounds like a great gift for Chris! Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion. We’re so used to having our digital images that I forget how special it is to print them out.
I’ve been looking for photo printers just for that purpose but the market has so many of them and when you look up reviews…ahhhhh, it’s information overload.
Yes, too much to sit and figure out, but you can print at Walgreens if you want a color prints, like you put in a frame or they have tons of gifts too. You upload your pic(s). I did Christmas cards one year using my baby picture with Santa. I think it would be a fun gift for him from you and/or the kids. Here we have a Walgreen on every corner, so they’re easy to pick up.
Here is Walgreen photo info if you upload the pic and decide on getting a photo gift:

That is a framable picture!
Sorry spellcheck changed my spelling! (frameable)
Lol…sometimes the auto correct on my texts does some crazy interpretations!
Thank you, Linda!
I love her sweet smile! What a precious memory Esther.
It showed up on my friend’s feed and she sent it to me. I really like it too. Thank you!
Lovely shot, what is a VBS?
Thank you! VBS is Vacation Bible School that occurs for a few days to a week in the summer months hosted by different churches. It’s from grades K-5, and after those kids, the older kids can volunteer to help. Kids learn about Jesus, do fun activities and crafts, and spend time with each other.
Ellis’ condition made her vulnerable to getting ultra sick if she caught a cold, so she couldn’t go to VBS when she was younger. A few years later, she only went to sing songs for one day because she had surgery the following week.
Sweet 🥰😇♥️
