My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
Heart cath is tomorrow at 7 a.m. yikes, that’s early. Didn’t tell Ellis yet, but if heart pressure numbers look good, then we will be outpatient. But if the numbers are elevated, then we’ll need to stay to tweak the medications and for further monitoring. Hopefully, no balloon or coils will be needed for her blood vessels during the cath. We’ve had such a healthy month that I wish this could be the norm.
Thank you! It was a good pre op visit, where the you meet with the anesthesiologist and the doctor for the next day’s procedure. They do a physical to make sure that you are all good for the next day.
