My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!

What is that white ‘thingie’ on the left side of the plant? Is that a creature of some sort?
It’s the tinted rear view mirror of a car! Not a creature. Lol
I meant the ‘white’ on the leaf, but now that you pointed out the mirror, I think what I’m seeing is a reflection of light from the mirror.
I think that’s a reflection from my phone’s magnetic holder. It was fun to scavenger hunt on the photo!
Warm and inviting, even with all those prickly looking arms. I saw the picture, clicked on it to comment and the picture was gone. Strange. Still didn’t come back (for me anyway).
That is so weird!
Yes, I don’t know why and just a second before it was there.
Cool photo! Makes me feel like I need to go outside and photograph something.
Thank you! I hope you go outside and take photos soon. There’s so much out there!
Beautiful you capture the picture. Very Cool. I hope behind your house. How are kids & what they are do.
Now that is one gorgeous agave plant. 😊
Thank you! It’s so big in size and height!
