Work it for the camera, Teddy!!
He learned the pose and didn’t mind the chin tuck from Ellis to get him to sit like that. I couldn’t believe he just sat there while I took pictures. He’s a ham!!
😆
He needs his legs straight…that’s another thing to work on!
Very nice – look at all Teddy has learned since he’s been a Suh!
Teddy thank you for his compliments! He’s not a willing learner, but he catches on quickly. We need to get his legs straight but that’s still a work in progress.
Just ply him with a piece of banana to help that learning process along! 🙂
He is so picky though. He loves banana but it’s not a guarantee that he’ll eat it. After 3 days of banana snacks, he’ll turn away from it. But he has 4 permanent favorites: dried papaya, dried pineapples, shredded wheats, and cirqulate (a rabbit vitamin for healthy mane). Instead of sitting, he’ll stand when he’s posed. Slow work in progress!
Pets … my canary loved broccoli, then went through a phase where he’d not touch it at all – it went from #1 treat to “what’s this stuff?” Romaine lettuce was a favorite treat, but there were so many recalls by Dole for all their lettuces, for salmonella or listeria, I figured broccoli was a better idea as I could really get it cleaner with scalding water and it didn’t fall apart and there were never recalls for it.
They go through seasons of treats and new delights! I never would’ve thought broccoli would be a treat for a canary. How cute and healthy!
Yes, I wonder if it is on its list of items Teddy can eat. One little floret in Buddy’s holder would last him all day. He’d pick at it throughout the day. He loved baby carrots too – I’d have to pare it down thin for the holder. And egg … a little egg in the treat cup – all healthy treats. His favorite treat was a piece of bagel – whole grain of course! 🙂
