My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
hehehe, thank you, Linda!! You know I’ve had some rough years with bad gardening. Hopefully, they will survive the heat in the coming months. I’m trying not to overwater them, which is my weakness.
I was better with outside plants than inside ones and managed to kill everything inside when my mom was no longer here to tend to them. I can kill a poinsettia plant in record time. 🙂

Yes messy, but look at you and your green thumb these days!

Happy growing!
This ZZ plant is growing well! Thank you. I hope it survives the heat this summer. It was an indoor plant but I decided to keep it on our porch.
Well done and there’s such a deep satisfaction working with plants!
Thank you!!
