My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
It’s a tiny chick from a bunch of stuffed animals we got from Oriental Trading Company. We got nuts for small stuffies. 🙂 Initially, I got them to put in some Operation Christmas Boxes, which is a Christian organization packing show boxes of goodies for kids around the world. Also, fun to share with friends.
There’s so many of these cute guys, as well as other farm and safari animals.
I see – I thought it was Big Bird as a baby. 🙂 I like stuffed animals too – when I was a kid, I was allergic to them, so I had to make it up to myself after years of shots. However, it was my mom, not me, who bought the first one to start me on the collection.
My goodness, the fires are happening more often, and in SoCal, it’s Irvine, Chino Hills, Yorba Linda….yikes. Stay well and praying for relief and safety. Take care, hugs…Esther
The duck is maybe 3″ tall, but its bright yellow fur and fuzzy little hair is so cute.
Oh geesh, we had ash falling last month. Stay safe!
Halloween is going to be different this year. We plan on going to church for a fall festival event (have no idea how it’ll be organized with Covid) and kids dressing up for fun. Think no trick or treating.
How about u? Is Autumn dressing up? Maybe Nora will too but she’s probably still so tiny.
We stay home with lights out, haha! Autumn is trying out costumes. Nora has a funny headband. I don’t know what they’ll be doing yet. They may go to church or do it with friends.

I love those smiling ducks!
We have Santa Ana wind, and fire about half an hour drive away yesterday.

We’re close to all of them. So the ash is still falling.
Are you doing anything for Halloween?
