Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
I wonder what Van Gogh would think? I’ll bet he’d smile, just like I did. He might like the new “Starry Night” padded case I just got my for iPhone, too.

I wanted to bring that bear home! I didn’t even check the price of that thing. lol.
It is a very cute plush. They had a sunflower one too.

So cuddly and cute! I wonder how many they sold of those bears. They had a bear of a skeleton image from Van Gogh’s painting; maybe some people would like it but not for us.

I wouldn’t be keen on the skeleton either, but I’d be happy with stars or sunflowers. 🙂

As a bear lover, I would have wanted that sweet boy and would have named him “Vinnie” – where to put him would be another story. Interesting they had vendors at the immersive show – I’d have thought picture books maybe but wow!

Great name for that bear! We would’ve totally loved having this bear for our ever-growing plush collection. If we did purchase, I would’ve asked for a new bear from the back instead of getting the floor model.
Maybe I was unclear, but no vendors at the show except a huge museum gift shop. Books galore there too. We got large post cards as souvenirs instead. ehhh, not too fun but still something to remember the event for the kiddos.

I would always go for the back bear too – less people pawing over it. Yes, Vinnie would work perfectly for a name. I understand now – the museum gift shop would handle all the gift items, no outside vendors, which makes sense as they’d have to exclude some of them if they all wanted to be on site.

Wouldn’t it be so nice to get a new bear from the back and when you take off the plastic bag, you get to hug a new, fresh bear?! It would be a perfect souvenir for this exhibition and our plush collection would get more out of control.
Maybe I should’ve been a plush designer!

Yes, you should have been a plush designer. A friend of my mom’s worked at the Ganz plush factory in Toronto and she sent me a big grizzly bear which I named “Bernie” after her – she was Bernice. That’s a fun site to look at Ganz.com
