Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

    1. Kind of like long worms with a silly face. We got a pair and they mostly hang out together. Once I put some Pothos plant in there, they’ve been occupying different spaces. Albino catfish poke around the gravel where they are and none of them seem to care. We love this peaceful habitat.
But I agree they look like snakes with a funny tail.

      1. Our aquarium is only 10 gallons, but over time it’s turned into a little fish forest. We fell out of love with it last year: mass fish fatalities and rapid algae growth after all the kitchen renovations. We put away our 20 gallon and downsized back to the 10 gallon, and that’s made a world of difference for me. Less cleaning, upkeep, stress over fish status. We’re slowly getting back into it by adding new fish and accessories. Fish keeping has been our thing for 4 years now.

      2. I’ve only had the two gouramis as a preteen but my dentist used to have a fairly big fish tank in his waiting room – I always liked that. Less work for you and you still have the aquarium, so that is a win-win for everyone.
