sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Thanks Cee for hosting this challenge! Hope you have a good start to the week with good spring weather.

Thank you readers for stopping by and wishing you all a great day. Remember you are special just the way you are and loved by God.

I like how you have captured these images Esther. Thank you for the nice message at the end of your post.

awwww. I’m so happy you mentioned the message at the end. I wondered how readers would take that message. I don’t want it to sound like a generic one, but I’ve been thinking what to write on something that would encourage me too. Appreciate your keen observation!

I have quotes I have collected that I see online and keep them in a folder for when I’m looking for something special for a post. When my boss and I were still at the Firm, I did a “Thought for Today” for years. We were using “dummy terminals” for years – not hooked to the outside world, just a very rudimentary e-mail called Pine e-mail for interoffice e-mail only. When we first got it, we were supposed to practice sending messages, so instead of a test message, I sent out a quote by Mother Teresa. The managing partner said “I like that quote – do another one tomorrow.” So I did that for many years and after Robb/I went out on our own, I did it for another seven years and people left our original firm and the firm split up and people stayed on my daily thought list. I have a lot of quote books in the basement – we did not hav access to the internet until just before Y2K – they thought Y2K would cause our old computer system to crash and burn. 🙂
