sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

A fun, spontaneous picture opportunity at the mall.

Minutes before taking this photo, I felt like a total wreck with 2 grouchy kids and me suffering from days-long insomnia, but the familiar cuddle pose felt natural and comfortable.

It was just a grumpy…no hard feelings among us. Elliot is happily back to playing his video games and Ellis is busy with her new hobby, accessory making.

Life is good again…just don’t take them to the mall without advance, way-advance notice.
In this photo, Ellis was our photographer.

I hope you are having a good afternoon and enjoying your time. Happy Monday and God bless. ~Esther

Mom took off her mask to smile wide. 🙂 That’s a nice picture in the mirror of you and Elliot.

We just had some gelato and I was like, of, what the heck! It’s not a mirror actually…it’s a portrait picture frame where people can go behind them and take pictures. There were several frame colors, but I figured the bad mood would continue if we took more photos.
I updated the post with a description photo of the artist who created it, if you’re interested in checking it out.

OK, thanks for updating the post about this interactive art Esther – that was interesting . Now I understand and it looks like I missed the part that Ellis was the photographer because I thought this was you and Elliot’s reflection.

Thanks for going back and seeing the update about the frames. Now I see how you would’ve thought it was a mirror reflection.
Ellis is our shaky photographer. lol. She know too and laughs about it.
