Heat wave in CA. It’s 100%…no rain. 😦
Only my aloe plants are happy and alive.

Thanks readers for stopping by! And hope you are staying well in this heat. I love summer but this kind of weather makes me pine for autumn. How fickle!!
Take care and God bless,
Esther

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
I am definitely ready for autumn!

It’s weather where u could fry an egg on the sidewalk. Dreaming of cooler days and praying for rain!

I heard someone say it was so hot you could cook lasagna in your mailbox. I heard that a few weeks ago. That’s too hot. We’re about to have a storm -it is rumbling out there and I’m going to shut down the computer. It’s been rainy/stormy off and on all weekend. Wish I could send you some.

Ack, I’d be scared to try that lasagna although it sounds like an interesting experiment!
Here you go with that wild weather pattern in your area. Hang tight Linda.

Yes, like the chocolate chip cookies on the dashboard or the egg on the sidewalk. I’ll bet you could make cookies on the dashboard during this heat wave and that is much more sanitary than the egg or lasagna. We had some terrific boomers last night Esther – lots of leaves on the ground now.

Where is the happy medium?! We need both in moderation.
