The sky is a sight to behold! It’s so vast, marvelous, and grandiose. It’s blinding to look at the bright, glaring sun or sunset, but the night sky is breath taking. Sitting on the balcony of our hotel room in San Diego at 2 a.m., the ambiance was peaceful and reinvigorating, waves crashing, sound of lone cars zooming by, and quiet stillness.
I haven’t had an opportunity to just sit outside and look up at the sky, its vastness unhindered by trees, buildings, windows, etc. When you look up, it’s hard to tell where you stand in the midst of that endless sky. Wow, God created this and I am one small person in it. This beauty was there this whole time but only on vacation did I surrender myself to admiring it.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Readers, thank you for stopping by this Monday! Have a great start to a new week and treat yourself to look up into the night sky.

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

I would love to see a sight like that – it makes us, mankind seem very small doesn’t it?

It was a wonderful sight and to think the sky is like that every night. Pretty cool…
