This is a great verse to memorize and meditate on during the day. My understanding is nothing like the Lord’s, so I need to trust that He knows what He’s doing and sees the whole picture.
When we first started homeschooling, it wasn’t an option we happily considered. But Ellis’ heart condition and constant hospital trips meant we had to limit germ exposure that kids would get at school. Thus began our wild journey.
Now I can’t imagine life without it. Don’t ask me how much I like it when the kids are sick and the curriculum you started is collecting dust, but on a good day, I’ll sing praises of this unknown journey.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.”

I’ve always liked this, from Woody Allen: “The longest journeys begin with a single step, but the best journeys begin with a moment of temporary insanity.”
That’s a great quote Linda! I’ve never heard that one and so accurate of how adventures begin.
Thanks for sharing it with me! Have a great Tuesday and so happy you stopped by.
Thanks for sharing! I spent my four years of college all online! It was definitely a journey.
Blessings!
That’s an achievement, especially to do an alternative college education. You need serious discipline and commitment to see it through a journey like that.
Thank you so much! I learned a lot. It seems like your experience will help instill that into your children, as well! I hope you have an awesome day!
