sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

So much rain in the bay area! Some places near us, like Santa Cruz, are getting snow and I’ve read that many roads are closed due to dangerous conditions. Please stay safe on the roads and if you are getting snow, hope you enjoy and take lots of memorable pictures.

Bravely bloomed flowers in the rain
Never thought this poem would make sense to me as a Californian, but knowing snow is nearby makes this poem more personable.

My daughter in San Diego has been getting a LOT of rain. No snow, though. 😉

It would be fabulous is San Diego got snow! I can imagine the surprise and joy of so many people. If we got snow in San Jose, I’d be out playing and not coming in for hours. But no…only in the mountains. But we see snow peaked mountains.

Reading this passage I think of my friend, his favorite poem and favorite poet. I wish I was just reading about snow and not anticipating more tomorrow morning.

Yikes! More snow. When is spring coming for you??

Two more snow events are coming from now to early next week and another week after that before Spring, on the calendar anyway, arrives. Ugh.

Your snow storm was on the news…that a storm is coming this weekend!! Oh Linda, what a pain. Spring better make up for this awful weather!!

Wow! Michigan has been getting a lot of notoriety the last six weeks: a big balloon overhead, the college campus shooting (3 students died, 5 injured, 1 gravely at MSU); then the Palestine, Ohio toxic stuff was shipped here and our two back-to-back ice storms. Now another weather event puts us out there in the spotlight still again. I hope Spring makes up for this for sure.
