Succulent Studios succulents

Received my first month of succulents from Succulent Studios. They ran a promotion to get 3 succulents just for the price of shipping. It’s a monthly subscription box for $10 + shipping every month: you get 2 new ones.

I’m only trying for another two months or so: what in the world would I do with all that succulent after a year?!

Anyhow, these little guys are so cute and arrived healthy! They’re currently resting in my repurposed soup bowl (hairline crack). I appreciate the included instruction cards to know how to take care of them. Hope this is the beginning of happy succulent raising!

Nicely packaged and moist

Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!

  1. WordPress is acting up – the last post before I go outside and two of the pics were white, no pic. Sigh. My mom had cacti gardens for years on her windowsill. A lot of small cacti planted in a row and she loved them. Give them lots of sun and minimal water and they’ll thrive.

      1. Me too – I worry about my theme. It’s a simple, but old theme (Twenty Ten is what it’s called) and I worry they’ll retire it and send me an e-mail to that effect and I have to sit and change it ASAP. My mom had lots of small cacti and a Christmas cactus, but it never got that big. My grandmother did have a beautiful Christmas cactus – she had it for years and years and it sat on her Singer treadle sewing machine … the sewing machine was wide and had a wooden to and it sat at the back kitchen window, a perfect location. I often wonder who got it as it was her pride and joy and whenever someone came to visit at the holidays and it was blooming, she showed it off.
