Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I'm so happy you are here. I'm an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature's beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child's heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you'll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you'll find some interesting posts to read!
Sweetness!

I like the quote – is Ellis making a wish as well?

We did not know about making wishes with dandelions! I will have to tell the kiddos. You can imagine there will be lots of wish makings soon.
I found the quote through a google search and thought it fit perfectly with the picture. I’m glad you like it!

I am forever tucking away quotes that I know I will use one day … I liked the Emerson quote about patience very much and finally got to use it. Yes, tell the kiddos … here is what to do:

How to wish on a dandelion
Pick the dandelion carefully. You don’t want to send any seeds on their way prematurely. …
Once you have your stem, it is time to think about your wish. …
Continue thinking about your wish as you take a deep breath. …
Take a few minutes and watch as your wish floats out of sight.

Nice! I’ll share with them. Thank you. ❤️
You’re organized to tuck away the quotes. I start doing that too and then forget where I put them. Kind of defeats the purpose and take too long to find. Lol

You’re welcome Esther – have fun making wishes as the dandelions flourish. A high school classmate used to make dandelion wine. I save the quotes by taking a screenshot and putting them in a picture file and call them something to make it easier to find them later. It works (most of the time).

With the allergies, I don’t know about making wishes!
That’s a great idea to save the quotes. I do something like that with fun and/or inspiring quotes from FB or insta but end up deleting them. I accumulate too much and it takes up memory space. It’s a good visual method for that though. 🙂

Yes, you have a point. You should take some of the pics of the kids at the duck pond and develop them and have Ellis try to draw the pond, ducks and feeding them. As to the quotes, sometimes I copy and paste them into an e-mail and send it to myself for later.. Here is a quote I liked … I just saved this quote before I got here tonight.
