sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

The Kelp forest is amazing. To me, they look like perfectly-lit torches. The tall stalk is called Stipe, the bottom roots-like structure that anchors the kelp is called a Holdfast, leaves are called Blades, and the round air-filled sacs for flotation is called the Gas Bladder.

If not for the catfish, the second photo would really look like a forest!

The catfish was not moving and took its spot right there. It must’ve felt cozy in that spot. It’s a lovely spot to sit and look up at the fish and sunlight peers down through the tunnel.

That catfish was huge! This looks like a fun place to visit!

It was very big!! This is the same aquarium we have been going to where the albino alligator lives.
