sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

First time seeing little ones grow in the stem
Water drops
These stem cuttings are given to me by my neighbor a few months ago. Thank you, V! They have grown taller and broader.

Thank you, Cee, for hosting! Thank you, readers, for stopping by and have a fantastic and happy weekend. ~ Esther

Linda, I can’t believe it! You know how much I wanted to have a green thumb, but still I can’t grow basil. Succulents and propagating pothos’ plant are my thing now. Herbs are still hard for me.

You’ll just have to buy it from the grocery store I guess … our store sells it in pots to put on the windowsill. However, tonight, before I got to WordPress, I was at Facebook. I follow Birds and Blooms magazine there – I used to subscribe to it for years. They had an article on basil … I just went back to get it for you – will send in a separate comment. you have to read down a bit as they talk about preparing it, then halfway down pointers on growing it.

Yep, probably more time efficient to buy the basil at the store. I don’t know how some people have bushy basil plants that keep growing. Mine start to grow and then shrivel up.
I’m building some skill with succulents and my beloved Pothos. lol

Maybe the article will help … you have alot on your plate already so store-bought basil works too. Do you use it a lot for cooking?

Thank you, Linda! You always hook me up with the right articles and links.

Seriously! You’re so good at growing plants!

I can’t believe it myself! Succulents are much easier to grow and are hardy.

Good for you! I am also terrible at growing basil. 😏

I think I should just buy basil and forget the whole basil harvesting thing. hahaha. People tell me herbs are easy to grow, but it’s not the case for me.

I keep trying too. I have basil growing now that has survived me longer than most but it also is starting to show signs of giving up. 😏

Oh wow!! That’s a success story. I hope your basil keeps keeping on.
        Basil just hates me. lol
