sing like wildflowers

My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.

Watching the busy traffic and dreaming of mealworms
Breathing in the city air and enjoying the sights

Thanks!! Dart wouldn’t sit in the driver’s seat, no matter how hard we tried. We could’ve coaxed him with food but didn’t want to mess up the car.

Dart looks curious in those pictures. He probably wonders what crazy toy we’ll bring out next!

Ha ha – hope Dart is not a backseat driver!

That’s too funny!! Dart was too engrossed in the ride to be a backseat driver.

Good, you don’t want any comments from that youngster!

He always looks happy so maybe he’ll be an encourager instead of a nagger.

Had to explain to the kiddos what a backseat driver is…they giggled!

My mom was a backseat driver – she applied the brakes all the time … she would not be happy the way people drive these days … recklessly and erratically are two words that come to mind. Driving the wrong way, speeding, going thru stop signs and red lights. We now have a law for no texting while driving, but I still see that happening.

I think moms are like that…some more than others! I agree that your mom would be very unsatisfied with drivers on the road today. They are full of rage and pent up anger! I wouldn’t dare anger anyone since they could pull out a gun or ram into your car. Yikes. Stay safe on the road and just mind your business. That’s the only way. Don’t take it personally, right?!

Yes, it’s very scary out there. I am glad I wear a mask so I can mumble a little underneath it, but people are in a hurry and have ZERO regard for other drivers. And we have many, many hit and runs on the expressway mostly – they know they killed someone and if there are no witnesses they just take off, some never to be caught. Mostly pedestrians crossing an expressway or out of their car for a car malfunction/running out of gas. It’s a crazy and uncomfortable world out there.
