My full and kooky life as a homeschooling mommy to 2 great kids, raising a child with HLHS (Hypolastic Left Heart Syndrome), coping with depression, following Jesus, and being much too camera happy.
Welcome to my blog! My name is Esther and I’m so happy you are here. I’m an avid nature photographer and a daydreaming thinker. My posts revolve around photos of nature’s beauty, homeschooling adventures with my 2 kids, sporadic reflections on my child’s heart condition, Bible reading reflections, gardening feats, and other mish mash things. Hopefully you’ll leave encouraged, pensive, or smiling at the simple things of life. Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll find some interesting posts to read!
What a fun day! The kids’ green jackets look great with Santa’s red suit. Are those crafts just theirs, or did everyone in their troop contribute? They’re really cute — as are the bunnies!
We were all in a great mood the whole day! Santa was a surprise and I’m not sure if he was a rabbit breeder or a rabbit shower. He made it really fun for everyone.
Many of the rabbit project kids made the crafts: we made ornaments, others made bookmarks, earrings, keychains, cards, and wood signs. It was great experience for kids to sell and have customer service experience. People were so mind to them!
Thank you, Linda! It was great to see them have pride over their work and the club.
Yes, it was a win-win day to have a family outing and to be around that many rabbits. There were no complaints this morning getting ready to leave either.
They made the decoupage ornaments and other handmade crafts from other members were bookmarks, earrings, cards, and stencil wooden posts. It was a fun event and so many rabbits there!
Thank you! It took a few tries to get the steps right, and we made some pretty yucky ones globbed in glue and glitter.
We used napkins and mod podge glue and acrylic paint to paint the ornaments white before applying the mod podge with the prints. Are you interested in trying it too?

Very nice 4-H hoodies! Ellis and Elliot are stylin’ at the show.
Thank you! We wanted to be more visual in promoting our club.
You’re welcome!
The hoodies are so colorful, the ornaments pretty and the rabbits are very cute! Sounds like a win-win kind of day!

More excitement by everyone than the Mary Cassatt exhibition?!
Did your kiddos make the crafts? Looks like such a fun event!

The decoupage ornaments are really cool! Did you use wrapping paper and cut out the cute little things to stick on?
